NOB- Hyderabad news: The ACB officials caught the Irrigation Department Deputy Executive Engineer red-handed on 26.04.2024 while taking bribe for giving NOC. Gopagani Ramanamurthy of Ramantapur is constructing a commercial building in Uppal. NOC should be taken from Irrigation Department for this building. For the same the victim applied, approached Yata Pawankumar, working as Executive Engineer, North Tanks Division, Irrigation Department, for NOC. He demanded Rs.5 lakhs to be given to give NOC. The victim then informed the ACB officials. As per their instructions, the ACB officials caught him red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs.4 lakhs to the DE. The DE was arrested and produced before the ACB court in Nampally. As per the orders of the court, the DE was remanded.
