NOB- Armor news: On 21-08-2025, the Accused Officers-A-1, ​​ Gurram Vivekananda Reddy, MVI, Armoor of Nizamabad District, and his driver (a private person), A-2, Nelli Thirupathi, aged 53 years, resident of Manakondur (Village & Mandal), Karimnagar District, presently residing at Hanmanwada, Perkit (Village), Armoor Mandal were apprehended by ACB officials. The A-1 and A-2 had demanded and accepted bribe amount of Rs.25,000/- from the complainant through A-2, for doing an official favor i.e. for services rendered by A-1 to the complainant, such as registration of vehicles, renewal of licenses, issuance of learning licenses etc., which were referred by the complainant. They also assured that the complainant’s files would not be kept pending in the future. By doing so, the A-1 performed his public duties dishonestly and improperly. The tainted bribe amount of Rs.25,000/- was recovered from the possession of A-2 at his instance. Therefore, the Accused Officers (AO-1), Gurram Vivekananda Reddy, MVI, Armoor and his driver, (A-2) Thirupati have been arrested and are being produced before the Hon’ble II Additional Special Judge for Trial of SPE & ACB Cases, Court at Nampally, Hyderabad.
