NOB- Kamareddy news: Police Constable (Writer) Ramaswamy of Kamareddy District and Lingampeta SI Arun were caught by the ACB officials on 14.11.2024 while taking a bribe of Rs.10 thousand to give bail. Nizamabad ACB DSP Shekhar Goud disclosed the details. Earlier, a case was registered in the local police station against a person belonging to a village in Lingampeta mandal. In this case, the SI demanded money to give station bail to the accused. The person who did not want to pay bribe approached the ACB officials. According to the plan, he went to the police station to pay the bribe on 14.11.2024 afternoon. Station writer Ramaswamy was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs.10 thousand on the instruction of SI Arun. The DSP said that the SI and the constable will be produced in the ACB special court in Nampally, Hyderabad.
