Such incidents are happening somewhere in the country. On the one hand, the Kolkata doctor’s murder incident is shaking the country. Even so, atrocities against women do not stop. Recently, in Thane School in Maharashtra incident is causing a sensation. A school sweeper sexually assaulted two nursery girls in Thane. He sexually assaulted girls in the school toilet. This incident took place on August 12thand 13th 2024. On August 16th 2024, the girls’ parents filed a complaint. The families of the victims and the locals protested on a large scale against the late registration of the case by the police. Railroko took place at Badlapur station to protest against sexual abuse of children. A large number of locals participated in Railroko. Thane city, Badlapur railway station besieged by protesters. The agitators flagged the inspector’s delay in filing the POCSO case. As a result, the inspector was suspended by the superiors. On the other hand, the accused was detained by the police.

A four-year-old girl reported severe pain near her internal organs to her parents. When the mother noticed this and asked for details, the parents were shocked as she told the truth. When shown to the doctors, it was confirmed that the girls had been sexually abused. On the other hand, children are afraid to go to school. The victim’s family members approached the police. But they neglected to register the case. Also, after inspecting the surroundings of the school, it was found that there are no proper CC cameras. Due to this, the relatives and locals became agitated on a large scale on 20.08.2024. The family members of the victim demanded that the accused should be severely punished. The trains were stopped due to the protest of the agitators on the railway tracks. Reacting to these developments, the National Commission for Child Rights has decided to send a team to Badlapur for investigation. The school management has expressed deep regret over this incident. It said that all measures will be taken so that this situation does not repeat again. Also suspended the principal. The class teacher and two staff members who were looking after their duties were fired. The said sweeper is working in this school on contract basis. Terminated the contract with the company that sent him.
