
The stage is set for big Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in Kondagattu of Mallya Mandal. Venkatesham, EO of the temple, said that Hanuman Pedda Jayanti celebrations are being celebrated in Kondagattu Anjanna Temple. On the first day in the morning, Swastikvachanam, Rakshabandhanam, Rutvik Varanam, Aruni Mathanam, Devtahavanam, Utsava Murthy Yagasala entrance, Devatapujas, Agnipratishtha, Havanam, Abhishekala to Swami, Sahasra Namarchana were arranged. In the evening Vishnasahasranama recitation, established deity, Baliharanam, Sundarakanda recitation, Ammavari Sahasramamakumkumarchana, Baliharanam and Mantrapushpa will be held.
Hanuman Pedda Jayanti celebrations will begin on 12.05.2023 in Kondagattu. While the celebrations will be held till 15th May 2023, the authorities have completed the arrangements. Lakhs of Anjanna devotees will come on the 14th May 2023. On the occasion of Hanuman Pedda Jayanti, silk clothes were sent to Swami from Bhadrachalam Seetharachandra Swamy Temple. They will be handed over to Anjanna by State Planning Commission Vice President Boinipalli Vinodkumar, Rajya Sabha members Joginapalli Santoshkumar and local MLA Sunke Ravishankar Swamy. 3.60 lakh laddoos have been prepared in advance for the devotees coming for the festival.
Dharmender, in-charge of prasada preparation, said that if these are not enough, additional staff have been appointed to prepare them immediately. He said that Pulihora will be prepared immediately according to the number of devotees. He said that 14 counters have been set up. Hanuman’s Thirunakshatra Jayanti celebrations are held on Vaisakh Muldashami every year as per the temple tradition. As part of the three-day festival, Trikundamanthima Yajna is performed in the temple for three days and Purnahuti program is performed on the anniversary day. Armed measures are being taken with 104 cc cameras to increase vigilance in the Kondagattu temple during the festival. On behalf of the temple, 40 cc cameras have been installed in addition to the 64 cc cameras installed inside and outside the temple.
