NOB- Bharat news: Indian space agency ISRO successfully launched another key launch as part of the Chandrayaan-3 project. ISRO has sent instruments into the orbit of the moon.
Now the focus is on bringing them back. ISRO has recently announced that the propulsion module launched as part of Chandrayaan-3 has been re-directed from Moon orbit towards Earth orbit. As a result, this project has given more results to India than expected. ISRO recently tweeted the information regarding this. It was revealed that it was completed with orbital extension and trans-Earth injection maneuvers.
As India planned the propulsion module route wisely, about 100 kg of fuel was left in it. Some more researches have been completed using this. Later, its path was diverted from the Moon’s orbit towards the Earth’s orbit. The SHAPE payload on it will conduct research on Earth. It was planned to go sideways in October to avoid colliding with satellites while entering Earth’s geo belt at an altitude of 36,000 km.
