NOB- Kanpur news: Another heinous incident took place in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A 45-year-old aunty had an illegal relationship with her 20-year-old nephew. When her husband came to know about this, he scolded her severely. To make her husband disappear, the wife drew a sketch with her nephew and killed her husband and buried him behind the house. After almost ten months, this affair became a nightmare. The police recently took out the body. The incident took place in Lalupur village of Sachendi. Shivveer Singh (50) and Lakshmi (45) have three children. Lakshmi had an extramarital affair with her nephew Amit Singh (20). Lakshmi drew a sketch with her nephew to murder husband, saying that her husband was an obstacle to the illegal relationship. She gave him drugs mixed in his tea. After that, suspecting that he might be alive, she beat him with an iron rod and committed murder. Later, she dug a pit behind the house and buried his body with the help of her boyfriend. She poured 10 kg of salt into the pit to help the body decompose quickly. When Shivveer Singh went missing, she convinced her neighbours and family members that he had gone to Gujarat for work. However, his disappearance for a long time and his phone not being found raised suspicions among the family members. Due to this, his mother Savitri Devi filed a complaint with the police. During the investigation, the police found out that Laxmi was in a relationship with Lakshmi’s nephew Amit Singh and interrogated them in their own style, and they confessed to having committed the crime. The Additional DCP said that they identified him through the victim’s personal belongings, a shirt and a locket. Skeletal remains were found in the courtyard behind the house. Lakshmi and Amit were arrested on September 7^th 2025. Police said further investigation is ongoing.
