NOB-Thiruvananthapuram news: The Kerala government has reversed its decision to make online-only registration for Sabarimala Ayyappa darshan. It changed its decision as there were widespread protests. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan clarified in the Assembly on 15.10.2024 that devotees will be given darshan of Ayyappa even if they do not register online. It was clarified that those who did not know about the virtual registration will also have darshan. He said that online registration will be useful to locate devotees in case of accident or missing. He reminded that this policy is also in force in Tirupati. However, it is not clear whether the spot booking system will be continued like last year.
