Be careful with call diversion activated. If asked to dial together with [401]  be careful – New cyber crime

Cybercriminals are coming up with new types of scams all the time. Cyber frauds are being carried out by activating call diversion without the victim’s knowledge, taking over their WhatsApp and asking them to send money urgently.

Have cybercriminals complained to the call center about the problem in your services by introducing themselves to the victim as speaking from the service center (JIO/AIRTEL/IDEA/ BSNL.)? Asking, the suggests that as soon as the victim says that no such complaint has been made, cybercriminals should CLOSE the complaint in their records, so you should immediately dial (401) followed by 598 42 (FAKE CALL). If you do that, call diversion will be activated on your phone immediately. Then all your incoming calls will go to the (FAKE Number) 598 42 number suggested by cybercriminals. In the same way, your Whatsapp will be installed on the phone of the neighbour criminals with a fake number. So everyone in the WhatsApp contacts list is asked to send Rs. 2000 thousand urgently to (FAKE) 698 42 number through phone pay or Google Pay and extort money. Cyber frauds are being done with new tricks.

Precautions.

> Any number dialled with [401) will activate the call drivert for that number. Those who have noticed this should go to CALL-SETTINGS on the phone to deactivate it.

Phone CALLS from strangers should not be trusted don’t do as they say. If there is a situation where you have to give the phone to someone, turn on screen recording without informing them.
