NOB-Mahabubabad District news: Bhu Bharati’s new ROR Revenue Act will solve land problems for the common people, and immediate action should be taken to increase the speed of grain procurement and take immediate action without causing any inconvenience to farmers, said District Collector and Magistrate Advait Kumar Singh. On 07.05.2025, the District Collector conducted a surprise inspection of the grain purchase centers in Abbayi Palem, Ellampeta of Maripeda Mandal, Ramavaram of Dhanthapalli Mandal, Vemulapalli, Vanthadapula, Narasimhulapeta, and Uggampalli Chinna Gudur Mandals.He inspected the revenue conferences being held there as Dhanthapalli Mandal in the district has been selected as a pilot project for the implementation of the Bhubharati New Revenue Act.Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the new Bhubharati Revenue Act, which has been undertaken with great ambition by the government, will provide free services to the common farmers quickly and as per the government’s orders, since the mandal has been selected as a pilot project for the Gram Sabhas to receive applications under the Bhubharati New Act in the district, revenue village conferences will be held as per the government’s orders. He said that by receiving applications from farmers, registering them online and sending their details to the relevant authorities, we are moving forward as per the government’s rules to resolve problems at the field level, and that farmers will attend this opportunity in large numbers and submit their applications.He said that the registration process for completely free applications and the online details will be prepared by the machinery. He said that village revenue meetings will be held as per the instructions given by the government. He said that the people have been provided with drinking water, tents, chairs and other facilities required in the context of the intense summer without any difficulties in the revenue meetings. The Collector requested that even if there are still land issues in the mandal, farmers should submit their applications through the relevant village revenue meetings, and that these village meetings, which have been undertaken as part of the pilot project, are ready to start across the district from June 2025 as per the government’s instructions.The Collector made a surprise inspection of the grain purchase centers in Abbayyapalem, Ellampeta, Rajavaram, Vemulapalli, and Vanthadupula and Uggampalli villages under the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Department (PACS) and IKP. He suggested that the grain should be purchased according to the effective names and quality standards in the district and the purchased grain should be transported immediately. The officials of the concerned center should take steps to register the details of the farmers who purchased the grain online and immediately pay the money. In view of the weather conditions, it was suggested that tarpaulins, gunny bags and all necessary facilities should be kept ready at the purchase centers. Farmers were instructed to purchase the grain as instructed by the government without any difficulty. He said that lorries and porters should be kept ready for transportation and that precautionary measures should be taken without any delay. The Collector was accompanied on this tour by Revenue Divisional Officer Ganesh, District Cooperation Officer Venkateshwarlu, local tehsildars, Saidulu, Sunil Reddy, and others.
