Bhagiratha Maharshi who brought the Ganges river from Heaven to Earth with severe initiation said Additional Collectors B.S. Lata, Manda Makaranda

Bhagiratha Maharshi’s birth anniversary was grandly celebrated at the District Integrated Community Building on 27.04.2023. Speaking on the occasion, the Additional Collectors said that it is great that the Telangana government is officially organizing the birth anniversary of Bhagiratha Maharshi, who brought the Ganga from Heaven to Earth with a rigorous initiation. It is a great tradition to officially organize the birthday and death anniversary of historical personnel, social reformers, great people and it is an indicator of self-respect for the respective communities. It is a matter of pride that Telangana is compassionate in the implementation of welfare schemes. Paths have been laid in a planned manner as a permanent solution for the improvement of the living standards of the people.
