NOB- Odisha news: Strange incidents have been happening in the Maninathpur crematorium in Odisha’s Bhadrak district for the past few months. Bodies buried there are disappearing. These incidents are creating panic among the villagers. They have alleged that around 15 bodies have gone missing since 2017. These include the bodies of Lakshmi Priya Behera, Satyabhama Parida, Shatrughan Das and Pramila Das. The villagers suspect that a gang that illegally collects organs and supplies them to private medical colleges may be involved in these incidents. They also suspect that these bodies are being taken for black magic. Overall, the villagers are suffering from panic due to these incidents. They are even afraid to go to the crematorium at night. The villagers allege that the police have not taken any action despite several complaints made earlier. They are demanding a high-level inquiry into this. My mother’s body is missing 10 days after it was buried in the crematorium. Local Tapas Samal said that I have complained to the police. Recently, four more bodies went missing, and the police have registered a case and started investigating. This incident is creating a sensation in Odisha.
