
NOB-Srinagar news: An IED blast occurred in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army said that the blast occurred on 11.02.2025 afternoon in the Akhnoor sector. The White Knight Corps of the Indian Army announced on Twitter that two soldiers patrolling the Indo-Pak border lost their lives. It said that the incident took place in the Laliali area of the Akhnoor sector. However, the army suspects that an Improvised Explosive Device-IED exploded. The security forces have taken this incident very seriously. Senior officials have reached the spot and started an investigation there. They are investigating the details related to the explosion. On 11.02.2025, the security forces successfully defused a mortar shell in the Akhnoor sector. Locals who saw this mortar shell at Pratap Canal in Namandar village informed the army. The army, which reached there immediately, defused the mortar shell before it exploded, thus averting a major accident.
