NOB-Bhadradri Kothagudem news: For the past three months, the BRS party has been protesting to repair potholed roads across Bhadradri Kothagudem district, said former Municipal Chairperson Kapu Seethalakshmi. On 19.11.2025, they protested on the Ramavaram Wheat Vagu Bridge along with party leaders. They shouted slogans demanding repair of damaged roads. Later, they handed over a petition to Kothagudem Corporation Manager Prasad. (As the commissioner was not available), Seethalakshmi said that the protest program was taken up on the instructions of BRS Party District President and former Pinapaka MLA Rega Kanta Rao and on the instructions of local election party in-charge Vaddiraju Ravichandra and former minister Vanama Venkateswara Rao. They were angry that there was no change in the attitude of the officials despite giving petitions to repair the roads. They said that there were no records of repairs to the potholes anywhere in Kothagudem. They demanded that the potholed roads across the Kothagudem Corporation be repaired immediately. They also demanded that the pending works be completed and the Sri Ramachandra Degree College Park in Ramavaram be developed. They said that the menace of monkeys and dogs should be reduced within the corporation. They clarified that the Ramavaram Vanama Park name board should be repaired and the toilets that were hidden due to lack of supervision should be repaired. They wanted street lights to be installed in the damaged areas throughout the corporation, and the CC roads dug for the Mission Bhagiratha pipeline should be rebuilt and pump connections should be provided. They demanded that the damaged sanitation trolleys be repaired and sanitation work be undertaken in the wards. They informed that the sanitation workers should be given the necessary supplies. Former Municipal Vice Chairman Damodar, former councilors Prasad, Ambula Venu, Togaru Rajasekhar, Tandra Seenu, Pallapuraju Dudala Kiran, Hussain, Pilli Kumar, Ramilla Madhu, Munir, Tammisetti Ashok, Maddela Sudheer, Venkataramana, Rizwan, Ajmira Vijay, Buddhi Madhusudhan Rao, Peram Sandesh, Vanteru Kalyan, Poornachander Nayak, Manoj, Siddu, Anish, Haimad, Ajju, Rijju, BRS party leaders and activists participated in this protest program.
