NOB- Proddutur news: A gruesome murder took place in Proddutur town of Kadapa district in the wee hours of 24.06.2024. A person named Venkata Maheswara Reddy was brutally killed by unknown persons. No body was found at the crime scene except blood stains and small pieces of flesh. The weapons used in the murder have disappeared. Bhumi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy who is accused of murder is absconding. Police have registered a case based on the complaint of the deceased’s mother. Investigation started. Basically this murder has become a mystery due to lack of evidence.

Venkata Maheshwara Reddy, who lives opposite the house of a former MLA in YMR Colony in Proddutur town, is reported to be working in Bharti Cement Factory near Erraguntla. The police initially confirmed that the person accused of murdering him is Bhumi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy. What is special here is that no dead body was found at the scene. There were blood stains and small body parts all over the house and the police believe that the accused may have dismembered the dead body and taken it away. Meanwhile, the deceased’s mother, Dwarsala Subbaratnamma, is accusing Ramachandra Reddy of killing her son. Based on her complaint, the police registered a case and started investigation. But it is reported that for the last 20 years, Ramachandra Reddy and Subbaratnamma have been living together in a house in YMR Colony. There are many allegations behind this murder. The police have started a special investigation to crack this case which has become a mystery.
