NOB- Delhi news: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Interim Budget for the financial year 2024-2025 in Parliament. On this occasion, she announced many important decisions. In it, she made a key statement on electricity, which has a lot of impact on the middle class people. She said that 300 units of free electricity per month will be provided to families of the country. Nirmala Sitharaman said that following the plan announced by Prime Minister Modi after the inauguration of the Ram temple, up to 300 units of electricity will be provided to crores of families every month with roof top solarization. She said that roof top solar setups will be installed on crores of houses in the country. By doing this, up to 300 units of electricity will be provided to crores of families every month. She said that due to this every family will save Rs.15-18 thousand annually. It is mentioned that the entire family can use the electricity generated by the roof top solar setups installed on the houses. She said that the remaining electricity can be sold to electricity distribution companies. She said that this will also generate income. The Union Finance Minister also gave good news to health workers in this budget speech. Ayushman Bharat Scheme health care coverage will be extended to all Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and helpers, she said. Various schemes under Maternal and Child Health Care have been codified into a comprehensive program and coordination will be enhanced in implementation. She said that under Anganwadi, Poshan 2.0 Anganwadi Centers will be upgraded to provide nutritious food and improve child care and development.
