NOB-Rangareddy District news: During BRS rule, the state became a pile of debt. Public welfare faded. Farmer’s debts, Suicides were all that remained. The situation changed after Congress came to power. The credit for bringing a real festival to farmers through loan waiver, farmer assurance and farmer bonus programs belongs to the Congress party, and this will be made clear through the farmer festival held in Palamuru, said MLA Veerlapalli Shankar. Speaking at a media conference organized at the town camp office on 01.12.2024, he alleged that BRS had imposed a debt of seven lakh crores on the state with its dictatorial rule. On the one hand, CM Revanth Reddy has resolved to help the state while getting out of this debt trap, especially with regard to farmers, through programs like loan waiver and Rs. 500 bonus for paddy. He reminded that CM Revanth Reddy has once again proven that he is pro-farmer by disbursing Rs. 21,000 crore in 25 days to keep his promise to the farmers. He reminded that in the past, when the state was in a united state, CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy waived off loans worth Rs. 70,000 crore under the leadership of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi. On the other hand, the MLA said that the CM has also paid special attention to the development of Palamuru district. He said that for the welfare of Palamuru, he will focus on projects like Lakshmi Devi Palli, Narayanpet and others along with the Palamuru Rangareddy district project. He reminded that the CM is taking steps to provide an additional Rs. 20,000 crore in the budget of Palamuru district every year. He criticized that while the CM is working tirelessly for the state, the opposition is trying to create chaos and smear the government. He said that the Congress party brought independence through peaceful means and will continue to solve problems through the same means in the future. He said that it is ridiculous to celebrate the BRS Diksha Divas, which divided the country for ten years. He reminded that 50 thousand jobs for the unemployed, free bus facilities, free electricity and cylinders with less cost are the merits of the Congress. He said that special attention has been paid to the problems faced by students in the schools in the constituency. He revealed that all the problems will be resolved and the school will be made exemplary. He reminded that the government college will also be made excellent with the help of donors.
