NOB-New Delhi news: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who is an accused in the Delhi Liquor Policy case, faced a major disappointment on 08.04.2024.Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court refused to grant interim bail to Kavitha. Her bail petition was rejected. Kavitha asked the court to grant her bail in view of her younger son’s exams. However, the ED heard arguments in the court that if Kavitha goes out on bail, the witnesses will be influenced. The court was told that Kavitha had already threatened some people. The court agreed with the arguments of the ED and rejected the bail petition of Kavita. The ED had arrested Kavitha on March 15th 2024 in the liquor case. The court remanded Kavita, who was initially in ED custody.In this order, she is staying in Tihar Jail from 26th March 2024. Her judicial remand is going to end on 09.04.2024. Chances are high that the court will extend her judicial remand.
