
NOB- Miryalguda news: The final verdict in the Miryalaguda Peramalla Pranay murder case, which created a sensation in the Telugu states, was announced by the Nalgonda court on 10.03.2025. The court has given a sensational verdict, awarding death sentence to A 2, accused Subhash Sharma. In a sensational verdict, the Nalgonda SC and ST court has given a sensational verdict in the Pranay murder case and has sentenced the remaining accused to life imprisonment. On September 14, 2018, a man named Maruthi Rao from Miryalaguda town got the young man Pranay murdered by a supari gang on the pretext of inter-caste marriage of his daughter. The police, who took the case seriously, completed the investigation and filed a charge sheet in the court in 2019, naming 8 people as accused. The trial in the court lasted for more than 6 years, and the arguments were concluded recently. Maruthi Rao, who was A1 in the Pranay murder case, committed suicide in 2020. The remaining accused in this case are A2 Subhash Kumar Sharma, A3 Asgar Ali, A4 Barry, A5 Karim, A6 Shravan Kumar, A7 Shiva and A8 Nizam. Of these, Subhash Sharma is in jail without bail, while Asgar Ali is in jail in another case. All the others have come out on bail. The accused have pleaded for a reduced sentence for their dependent parents and children, saying that they have health problems. Amrutha’s uncle Shravan Kumar said that he has nothing to do with this case. He appealed to the court to show mercy as he has three unmarried children.
