As per the US health authority documents that is CDC(Centre for disease control) unpublished data, Delta plus variant spreads faster than expected and may cause severe illness. It also confirms that people who are completely vaccinated are also aiding in the spread of this variant in the same rate as unvaccinated people.

Further the viral load carried by vaccinated and unvaccinated people is  same in their nose and throat and spreads at same rate said by Dr.Rochelle P Walensky, director of CDC.

This delta plus variant is highly spreading and contagious than common cold, seasonal flu, Ebola, SARS,MERS, smallpox as well as chickenpox as per the documents. B.1.617.2 is known as delta variant which is highly contagious and cause severe disease also.

As per CDC data around 35,000 symptomatic infections per week were found among Americans who are vaccinated. This shows that delta variant is 1000 fold more in amount than the normal covid variants in both vaccinated as well as unvaccinated people.

This reveals that the delta plus variant is spreading faster even by the people who are vaccinated, though these vaccinated people does not show any symptoms but are potent carriers like unvaccinated people said by Walter Orenstein, Head of Emory Vaccine Centre.

Vaccine may provide protection form severity of disease but can’t prevent the infection spreading. So more community spread is seen now.  

Finally the bottom line is wearing of mask, washing hands regularly, social distancing and personal hygiene may help in stopping of further spread of these variants effectively.
