NOB-Nizamabad news: The patients in the Nizamabad government hospital are facing various problems and those who go there for treatment are not working properly. Leaving aside the medical issue, there is a situation where it is not known when the lifts in the hospital will work or not. This incident took place on 22.07.2025 night. For about half an hour, the patients and their relatives expressed their anger as they were gasping for air as the lift stopped suddenly and the lift door did not open. When the patients and their colleagues were going down the lift from the upper ward of the hospital, the lift suddenly stopped and the door did not open. Those who were stuck in it were left in a state of panic for half an hour, unable to breathe. Upon receiving the information, the security staff informed the police, who immediately reached the spot, opened the lift door and brought the patients out safely. Patients and their family members are expressing anger over this incident. They are demanding that the authorities take immediate action on the condition of the hospital lifts. However, this is not the first time, such incidents have happened frequently in the past as well. Despite being allocated money from the government every month for the maintenance of the lifts, the hospital authorities are failing to maintain them. If any emergency victims go in the lift for treatment and it suddenly stops, will their lives be lost in the air in the lift itself, and people are questioning who is responsible for this.
