Venkat, the financier of the film, was detained by the Narcotics Bureau officials. Venkat worked as a financier for the films Dhmarukam, Poolrangadu, Lovely, Autonagar Surya. Along with Venkat, Balaji, Venkateswara Reddy, Murali, Madhubala and Mehak were caught red-handed by the officials of the Narcotic Bureau. LSD and cocaine were seized from the accused. Later, they were handed over to the Madapur police.
