TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar said that eco-friendly electric AC buses are becoming available to passengers and TSRTC has decided to run 50 electric AC buses on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route. He said that 10 AC electric buses are being put into use from 16.05.2023, and these new electric AC buses are being made available with the highest quality standards and high-tech features and have been named as E-Garuda.

The inauguration ceremony of these buses will be held at Pushpak bus point near Hyderabad-Miyapur Cross Roads on 16.05.2023 at 4.30 pm. Telangana Transport Minister Puvwada Ajay Kumar said that the e-Garuda buses will be inaugurated along with Chairman and MLA Bajireddy Govardhan. Meanwhile, the bus will be available every 20 minutes on the Vijayawada route.
