Exchange department of TG on illegal wine sales

NOB_ Exchange department should take action on illegal wine sale

NOB-Khammam news: Liquor is being illegally sold in tribal villages, Thandas, Gudas through wine shops in all districts and mandals of the state through autos to belt shops in villages. They are selling 20% to 30% more than the M.R.P. rate. Licenses of such wine shops should be cancelled. Only they have to be sold in wine shops. But the founder president of Banjara Tribal Rights Struggle B. Mangilal Naik denies that in all the agency area mandals of the state, the owners of wine shops and the local excise department staff have formed syndicates and are occupying autos and mini Tata ACs in the belt shops in the villages. Legal action should be taken against them. Many times our community has complained to the district administration officer district collector, district excise superintendent and deputy commissioner excise to stop them. Also, a complaint has been made to the Excise Commissioner at the State Excise Department’s headquarters in Hyderabad and to Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, who represents the Excise Department in the State Cabinet. However, neither the state excise department nor the district administration has responded. The officials of the district excise department are not trying to transport this illegal liquor. Excise SIs and CIs in various mandals of the districts and syndicate owners of wine shops sell bottles of  Wines to autos, mini Tata ACs vans and are selling at 20% higher prices. Due to this, the tribals in many tribal villages are addicted to drugs and cheap liquors in the villages and their families are facing financial difficulties. The tribal family members are starving depending on them. As if our government is a public administration, wines department is running by public administration, in our state government welfare schemes should be provided to everyone. B. Mangilal Naik has warned that Telangana State Banjara Tribal Rights Parata Samiti will hold a large-scale protest if legal action is not taken against the owners of wine shops by Telangana State Excise Department officials, Telangana Government and State Excise Department Government officials.
