NOB-Karnataka news:  The suspicious death of former DGP Om Prakash is creating a stir in Karnataka. Omprakash, who retired as the DGP and IGP of Karnataka, was found dead in his house.Omprakash was murdered at his residence in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. The incident took place on 20.04.2025 evening. His wife is believed to be the main suspect in the Omprakash murder case. Police Commissioner Daya Nanda confirmed that Om Prakash was murdered.Om Prakash’s body was found at his residence in HSR Layout, Bengaluru at around 5:30 pm on 20.04.2025. Om Prakash’s body was found by the police in a pool of blood.According to eyewitnesses, former Karnataka DGP Omprakash is suspected to have been murdered by his wife. It is known that Om Prakash had stab wounds on his body. However, a senior police officer revealed that he has not spoken to any eyewitnesses about the incident yet.They say that they will talk about Om Prakash’s death after receiving complete information. On the other hand, it is known that Om Prakash’s wife had shared a WhatsApp message earlier. It is reported that Omprakash’s wife had said in it that her husband was roaming around the house with a gun and that he intended to kill her.However, it is known that she is not mentally well. The police are not giving any clarification on this either. It is known that the police are interrogating Om Prakash’s wife.
