NOB –Anantapur news : Police on 31.05.2023 arrested an interstate thief who was targeting women and stealing jewellery. The police found that the women were being tricked and by collecting their phone numbers and addresses frauds were committed. After that, the police found that they were stealing jewellery by mixing sleeping pills in cool drinks. Police revealed that jewellery was stolen from around 20 places in two Telugu states. The rural police caught the thieves. The accused has been identified as Chevuri Chandra of Nellore district. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
