
NOB- Warangal news: The Task Force and Mattewada police have jointly arrested seven members of a gang selling expired pesticides under the names of famous companies that target innocent farmers. One is absconding and the other is currently in jail. The police have seized fake pesticides, fake seeds, fake pesticide manufacturing machinery, printing equipment, two cars and six cellphones worth Rs. 78 lakhs from the accused. Details of the accused arrested by the police: 1. Irukulla Vedaprakash (53), Mattewada, Warangal. 2. Mohammed Siddique Ali (46), Lakshmi Puram, Warangal. 3. Nuka Rajesh alias Raju (40), Sultanbad, Peddapalli district. 4. Yallam Sadashivudu (57), Karimnagar. 5. M.D. Rafiq (50), Govindaraopet, Mulugu district. 6. Allacheruvu Shekhar (37), Madugu, Prakasam district. A.P. 7. Podilla Sambayya (55), Duggondi, Warangal district. 8. Vishnu Vardhan (currently absconding). 9. Muddagula Aditya (32), Hyderabad (currently in jail). Warangal Police Commissioner Sanpreet Singh, IPS, disclosed the details of this arrest. According to the information received by the police, the task force and the Mattewada police and the business officers jointly raided the house of the main accused Irukulla Vedaprakash in the Bodrai area of Mattewada and seized a large amount of fake and expired pesticides from the house where three other accused Siddique, Rajesh and Sadashivudu were not taken into custody by the police. After the accused were taken to the Mattewada police station, the police interrogated the accused. The main accused Irukulla Vedaprakash, with the idea of making easy money, purchased a large amount of expired pesticides from local pesticide dealers and also used to buy them from another accused Siddique, who was a representative of a local pesticide company. Along with the expired pesticides purchased in this way, two other accused, Allacheruvu Shekhar, Vishnuvardhan, and Aditya, who are currently in jail, used to purchase fake pesticides manufactured under the names of famous pesticide companies like Danuka, Tata, Rails, Bayer, Adama and some other companies. Along with the expired pesticides collected in this way, he distributed the fake pesticides to the remaining accused who did not have any government permits. The accused who purchased these fake pesticides used to sell them to local farmers and cheat them. Along with the main accused arrested by the police, Sadashivudu, Raju and Aditya are accused in several cases in the past. Based on the information given by the main accused, the task force and Mattewada police raided Allacheruvu Shekhar and Vishnuvardhan Goud and seized a large quantity of fake pesticides, machinery and equipment used for their manufacture, labels, adulterated seeds, two cars and cell phones. The task force, which has shown excellence in catching the accused in this adulteration case, has been entrusted with the task of arresting to Warangal ACPs Madhusudhan, Nandiram Nayak and Inspectors. The Police Commissioner congratulated Raju, Gopi, SIs Vamsi Krishna, Naveen, RSI Bhanu Prakash, AAO Salman Pasha, and Task Force Constables Suresh, Surender, Sambaraju, Srinivas, Satish Kumar, and Nagaraju.
