NOB- Kathua news: A goods train travelled more than 78 KM without a loco pilot and created a commotion. Goods train (14806R) from Jammu Kashmir to Punjab with 53 wagons load of chip stones stopped at Kathua Railway Station, Jammu. However, the loco pilot and assistant loco pilot went out without applying the hand brake and due to the slope of the railway track towards Pathan Kot, the train moved forward and reached a speed of 100 km per hour and travelled 84 km. In the end, wooden blocks were blocked at Uchi Bassi railway station. A big accident was avoided when the train was traveling due to the fact that no other trains were coming on the track.
