NOB- Tirupati news: Former head priest of TTD Srivari temple AV Ramana Dixitulu held a sensational media conference on Tirumala Laddu Prasadam adulteration controversy. He said that many complaints were made against prasads during the previous government. It was brought to the attention of the then EO and chairman that the prasadam was not of good quality, the fat was not being made with the right method and the taste had also changed. But his complaints were not heeded. It has been reported that during the last five years of governance, the prasadam was inferior. He said that when Chandrababu took power as CM, he started cleaning in TTD. He said that the previous government had put him in a lot of trouble for pointing out defects in quality. Officials also filed cases and caused trouble. He said he had to stay away from the temple due to government cases. He expressed his grief that he was subjected to many problems because of questioning. It is said that the devotees are in deep distress due to the developments that have been going on for three days. They want to give a tasteful report to the god who gives rice to the devotees. It is sad that there is adulteration in the offering to Swamy .He said that he had told the then EO and the chairman many times about the quality of prasadas in the last five years, but as the other priests did not come with him, the great sin had been going on for five years.
