Hepatitis C a silent hepatitis

Hepatitis C  virus causes this disease which affects liver and in severe conditions leads to liver failure. Also known as silent hepatitis as it damages the body without any symptoms. The mode of transmission is same as of Hepatitis B in the form of blood, body fluids, mother to child and by used syringes. Here the problem is, at the time the symptoms appear in the patient, most of the body parts are already damaged by this virus, so the condition will be unrecoverable.

Liver:

If left untreated, this hepatitis C will result in liver cirrhosis, inflamed liver and loss of bile juice production function.

Endocrine system:

Mostly effects the thyroid gland making it to be hyper or hypo in secretions of thyroid hormones leading to imbalance in metabolism of body.

Digestive system:

Due to loss of bile juice production leading to digestive problems there by weakening the body, fluid building up in abdomen occurs.

Circulatory system:

Due to blood pressure increase, small veins will burst. Blood flow and pressure increases in larger veins.

Nervous system:

The Central nervous System is mostly effected due to Hepatitis C causing confusion, sleep disturbances, speech problems and motor skills performance disability.
