NOB-Hyderabad news: The Center has focused on the unresolved issues in the AP Reorganization Act. As part of this, it has given the green signal for the construction of the Amaravati-Hyderabad Greenfield Express Highway. It has instructed the concerned officials to prepare the DPR immediately. On February 3rd 2025, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan held a long meeting with officials of 15 departments. The proposals of the AP and Telangana governments as well as the pending issues under the Bifurcation Act were discussed. The Union Home Ministry recently sent the minutes of that meeting to the CSs of AP and Telangana. The Center has recently given the green signal to the Amaravati-Hyderabad Greenfield Express Highway. It has instructed the Union Roads and Surface Transport Department to initiate steps to prepare the DPR. It has issued orders to take steps to speed up the approval process for the northern part of the Regional Ring Road in Telangana.
