Police cricket teams captained by District Collector K Shashanka Revenue vs District SP Sarath Chandra Pawar at the NTR Stadium in Mahabubabad district headquarters on 07.05.2023. The Revenue team won the first toss and chose to bowl while the Police team represented by SP Sarath Chandra Pawar scored 98 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in the allotted 16 overs. After that, the revenue team, represented by Collector Shashanka IAS, took up batting for the target of 98 runs and won without losing a single wicket in 10 overs. While SP Sarath Chandra Pawer scored the highest 30 runs in the police team and Venkatesh scored the highest 65 runs in 39 balls in the Revenue team and played a key role in the team’s victory. Bowler Chandrasekhar who made the police team unbeaten in batting gave 9 runs in 3 overs and took four wickets. Man of the match award was given to Chandrasekhar who took four wickets to defeat the police team. Collector Shashanka IAS, who came to bat at the end, needed two runs for victory and hit 4 to win the team.
