
NOB- Penjarla news: After Kerala and Vikarabad, the famous pilgrimage sites of Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temples in the country, Penjarla village in Kothur mandal of Shadnagar constituency is achieving such spiritual development, said Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. The Speaker attended the spiritual inauguration ceremony of the 800-year-old Swayambhu Sri Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Temple, which was reconstructed on the outskirts of Penjarla village in Kothur mandal of Shadnagar constituency in Ranga Reddy district on 24.02.2025 as the chief guest. AICC National Secretary Challa Vamsichand Reddy, Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud and other local leaders and public representatives attended the program held under the Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar. On this occasion, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, MLAs Veerlapalli Shankar Prakash Goud and AICC leader Challa Vamsichand Reddy were welcomed at the temple. Temple administrators former ZPTC Mamidi Shyamsunder Reddy and temple chairman Bezawada Anita Reddy welcomed Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar with a Poornakumbham. He said that this area, which has a great speciality and attracts devotees, will become a great spiritual tourist center in the future. Recognizing the great speciality of the 800-year-old Swayambhu Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple in this area, which was once a forest area, he praised the great development of the temple by former ZPTC Shyamsunder Reddy and Bezawada Anitha Reddy. He said that he will speak to MLA Veerlapalli Shankar through the government and issue orders to allocate special funds for the Penjerla temple and undertake development programs here. He said that more than 30 thousand people will visit the Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple in Vikarabad on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Similarly, the Speaker said that there will be a similar number of devotees in the future at the Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple in Penjarla. Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar said that he prayed to the Lord in the Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temples in Penjarla that the Chief Minister should always be healthy and his family should be cool. He said that he prayed to the Lord to have the Lord’s blessings and compassionate grace to lead the progress of this state forward. He said that he prayed to the Lord to bestow upon them the power to fulfill the six promises made by the government to the people and benefit them.
