NOB- Visakhapatnam news :A huge cricket betting gang has been busted in the city. The Rs. 350 crores cricket betting scam has been busted by cyber police, King Mo alias Dinesh, Vasudev, Suri Babu and 11 others who are betting at the international level have been arrested by the police. Betting is being managed through mobile applications.

While from one King Mo account Rs. 145 crore transactions were found by the police. Cash, cell phones and laptops were seized from the accused. It is said that hundreds of innocent youths in surrounding areas of Visakhapatnam are trapped in this betting trap. However, the youth of Visakhapatnam, who were caught in the betting trap by the police, put pressure on the police to release the betting gang. This case is being investigated by CP Ravi Shankar himself. It seems that some prominent people from the urban areas are in contact with bookies in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad who run cricket betting and are conducting this business secretly. As part of cricket betting, bettors continue to avoid suspicion by using code language at bookies. Youngsters who respond to phone calls from numbers registered with bookies are inclined towards betting. Betting people use code language. On the day of the match, the youth are taking part in betting by transacting online. The police have been issuing warnings that strict legal action will be taken if cricket betting is committed. However, people complain that some people are doing betting as a profession. Even now, the local people want the police to keep vigil and take strict action against those involved in cricket betting.
