During the investigation by the authorities, it was found that Ranya Rao had visited Dubai 27 times ln the year 2024. It was revealed that she secretly brought kilos of gold biscuits every time she went to Dubai and returned. The authorities said that the actress revealed that she received a commission of Rs. 1 lakh per kilo of gold. She explained that she would leave the airport with the help of a constable. The authorities suspected that Ranya Rao often went to Dubai and wore the same clothes every time she went. Due to this, the actress who got off the Dubai flight on 03.03.2025 was thoroughly searched and the gold biscuits hidden illegally in her clothes were found. The police who took the actress into custody also arrested the constable who had helped her. Ranya Rao wore the same type of dress every time she went to Dubai. She used specially made jackets and waist belts to smuggle gold. Officials said that when these jackets and belts were examined closely, gold biscuits hidden inside were found. They said that a smuggler had brought Ranya Rao into this business with the intention of using her credit as her father was a police officer. They also said that a political leader was involved in this matter. They explained that the kingpin and political leader behind Ranya Rao will come out soon. They said that they suspect that some other officials along with the constable at the Bangalore airport also helped her. Recently, when Ranya Rao arrived in Bangalore from Dubai, she had a fight with a customs officer at the airport. Her close relative had obstructed her authority and insulted the officer. As a result, the officer inquired about Ranya Rao’s movements. Since she frequently went to Dubai, he secretly inquired whether she had any business there. When it turned out that she had no such business, Ranya Rao became suspicious of her Dubai tours and decided to search her closely after the Dubai flight took off.
