‘Telangana Bharosa Sabha’ will be held in the presence of Bahujan Samaj Party President and former UP Chief Minister Kumari Mayawati. The current plan is to hold a meeting on May 7 at 4 pm at the Sarurnagar ground, Hyderabad. The meeting was aimed at providing ‘reassurance’ to the unemployed youth as well as women, farmers and other sections of the population who had lost their rights during the nine-year BRS rule in the state.

Mayawati is coming to Telangana for the first time after RS Praveen joined the party and became the state BSP president. The leadership hopes to gather one lakh people for the open meeting. The state BSP leaders will discuss the party’s political strategy in the upcoming Assembly and Parliament elections in Telangana with the party’s national president. Party sources indicated that Mayawati will come to Hyderabad after the party’s election campaign in Karnataka is over.
