NOB- Mahabubabad news: To inform the people of Mahabubabad District that social media (WhatsApp groups, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) should be used in a proper manner as social media platforms target high profile VIPs and denigrate them in such a way as to violate the freedom, safety and dignity of an individual/community/party. Strict action will be taken even if videos are posted, sarcastic comments, photo morphing, etc.
SP Chandra Mohan said that no one should disturb the reputation of others. Also, if anyone posts provocative posts, and if there will be disturbance of peace, legal action will be taken as per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the group admin should immediately remove such posts from the group, otherwise cases will be filed against the posters and group admins under the Indian Penal Code and Information and Technology Act 2008. Mahabubabad district SP Chandra Mohan said that they will register and take strict action.
