NOB- Afzalganj news: Afzalganj police have arrested a man who cheated them by promising to sell gold at a low price. The arrested man has been identified as a member of an inter-state fraud gang. It is learnt that three members of this gang had cheated several innocent people by promising to provide gold at a low price. The men collected Rs. 40 lakhs from the victims and fled. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victims. Afzalganj police have arrested the accused Jai Kumar and recovered Rs. 40 lakhs from him. The search is on for the remaining two accused, Uday and Sandeep.
