NOB- Srikalahasti news: Srikalahasti Mandal Surveyor Purushottam Reddy was caught red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 25,000 by ACB officials. Former Principal of IIT Srikalahasti Chandrasekhar had applied to the Revenue Department to convert his 70 cents of land in Panugallo from agricultural land to non-agricultural land. The victim, Chandrasekhar, said that when he met the officials after his application was rejected, he was told to conduct a survey, the surveyor demanded Rs. 30,000, and finally demanded a bribe of Rs. 25,000, so victim approached the ACB officials. ASP Vimalkumari said that based on Chandrasekhar’s complaint, they caught the surveyor red-handed while he was taking a bribe and registered a case.
