NOB- Vijayawada news: Along with special trains on the occasion of summer, the Vijayawada railway officials are also providing special meals. They have made available quality meals for passengers in the name of economy meals for Rs.20. For this, a special counter has been set up at the railway station where the general bogies stop. They are offering economy meals for Rs.20 and snack meals for Rs.50. Railway officials said that IR has made this arrangement with CTC to provide quality meals to passengers at low cost during summer. It is said that this counter has been set up with the aim of satisfying the hunger of passengers traveling in general coaches. It is explained that this special counter will be there till the end of summer. DRM Narendra Ananda Rao Patil explained that these counters have been set up experimentally at Vijayawada and Rajamahendravaram stations.
