NOB- Gujarat news: An incident in which an elephant created havoc in the Jagannath Rath Yatra took place in the state of Gujarat on 27.06.2025 morning. In details, the devotees organized a Rath Yatra in Golwada, Gujarat, similar to the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra in Odisha. However, the organizers brought elephants as a special attraction in the Yatra. In this context, 10 minutes after the Yatra began, an elephant in it created havoc. When it suddenly attacked the devotees, they panicked and ran away. This led to a minor stampede. A total of 9 people were injured in this accident. Later, the police shifted them to a nearby hospital for treatment. More details regarding the incident are awaited.
