Nowadays Aadhaar card has become a very important document for everyone. Along with identity card, it is becoming imperative in many government and private jobs. It includes biometric information apart from personal details. As the importance of Aadhaar card increases, so does the risk of its misuse.

While using Aadhaar card in many places, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Only then the next process starts. OTP is very important and should not be shared it with anyone. A small carelessness can lead to a big problem. Be careful if you don’t receive OTP while using Aadhaar. Because there are chances of your Aadhaar being misused.

Aadhaar Card Verification

1. First go to UIDAI official website. Then go to Aadhaar Services and select Aadhaar History.

2. Then enter Aadhaar number and security code. Now select Generate OTP from the drop-down menu.

3. After entering the OTP the Aadhaar history can be seen.

4. Note that this process is done only if the phone number is linked with Aadhaar card.

5.If it is felt that Aadhaar card is being misused and phone number is not linked with the Aadhaar  a complaint can be done by calling the UIDAI emergency hotline 1947. And also contact [email protected] for assistance if necessary.
