NOB- Hyderabad news: BRS MLC Kavitha was admitted to Gachibowli AIG Hospital on 01.10.2024 morning for medical examination. It is known that Kavitha fell seriously ill several times due to gynecological problems and high fever while in Tihar Jail in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Kavitha fell ill twice while in Tihar Jail. On July 16^th 2024, Kavitha was first taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital in Delhi and treated. Two days later, on the 18^th July 2024, she was produced in the court through video conference, and Judge Kaveri Baweja brought her health problems to the attention of the judge. After that, as per Kavitha’s request, she was allowed to undergo medical tests at Delhi AIIMS. Since then her health condition has not completely improved. Jail doctors treated her. After that, on August 22^nd 2024, Kavita fell ill again. A medical examination was conducted at Delhi AIIMS and she was taken back to jail. Kavitha has been suffering from gynecological problems for a while and has recently contracted a viral fever. With this Kavitha’s husband Anil took her to medical tests. Kavitha lost 11 kg while in jail. Her brother, BRS working president KTR himself said this, and the family members and BRS members were deeply worried. Moreover KTR, who was shocked to see the hardships her sister was going through, told them one by one. They expressed concern that Kavitha has to take pills due to increase in BP. Moreover, he said that the jail is not clean and Kavita is facing a lot of difficulties. He said that there are 30 thousand people in Tihar Jail, which should have 11 thousand prisoners. In the case of bail, she faced disappointment in the trial court as well as in the high court. A hearing on her bail petition was held in the Supreme Court on August 27^th 2024. Kavitha got bail after trial. She remained in jail for about five and a half months.
