NOB- New Delhi news: Alert to all mobile phone users. The government has issued important directives to the telecom companies. It has given clear instructions to ban 28,200 mobile phones involved in cybercrime. This decision will be implemented across the country. Also, the Center has taken a key decision regarding mobile SIM cards. Reverification of SIM cards is recommended. The central government has directed the telecom companies to reverify 20 lakh mobile connections. According to government data, 28,200 mobile handsets are involved in cybercrime. About 20 lakh numbers were used in these mobile handsets. After reverification all these sim cards will be banned. Phones will also be banned. It is said that this decision has been taken to protect citizens from digital frauds. The government has recently introduced a digital intelligence platform. Through this, cybercrimes and financial frauds can be curbed. Information exchange, real-time intelligence sharing, coordination among other departments can be done easily through this new platform. Various departments like telecom companies, law enforcement agencies, social media platforms, banks, financial institutions, identity document issuing authorities are all linked under this platform. They work together. Therefore, problems can be solved quickly.
