NOB-Telangana news: Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy has directed officials not to compromise on quality while supplying the 22-item kit proposed for government school students, and instructed that the kits be distributed before schools reopen after the summer vacation. The Chief Minister reviewed centralised procurement for items supplied to students of government schools and welfare hostels, and stressed that cost should not be a constraint when it comes to student welfare, quality must be ensured under all circumstances. He asked officials to finalize plans to supply uniforms along with 21 essential items, including school belt, tie, shoes, school bag, notebooks and other materials, and to prepare detailed procurement schedules accordingly. The CM also sought complete details of pending bills related to government and residential schools and directed officials to place the information before him. The review meeting was attended by Government Advisors Sudarshan Reddy and Vem Narender Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh, CM OSD Vemula Srinivasulu, and senior officials.
