NOB- Odisha news: A 35-year-old man was killed and his private parts were mutilated by a group of villagers of Malasapadar in Odisha’s Gajapati district on suspicion of practising witchcraft, police said on 03.082025. According to police, the villagers strangled the man and cut off his genitals before dumping the body in the nearby Harabhangi Dam. The body was recovered from the reservoir on 03.08.2025 morning and sent for post-mortem examination. 14 villagers detained as police probe the incident.
