NOB- Hyderabad news: The Osmania University Police, with support from the Task Force East Zone, swiftly solved a brutal murder case registered in Cr. No.521/2025 U/Sec 103 r/w 3(5) BNS. The case involved the planned killing of Magu Singh (58) of Dhoolpet on 01.12.2025 at Yerrakunta Katta, Tarnaka. During investigation, it was found that A-1 Shaik Ghouse (43) suspected the victim of performing black magic on his family, causing financial losses and spreading rumours about his wife. Believing this, A-1 conspired with A-2 Syed Shoaib (32) and his assistant A-3 Md. Ilyas (20) to eliminate the victim. As per the plan, A-2 lured the victim to Boost Hotel Lane, where A-1 attacked him with an iron rod. The accused then transported him in A-2’s Xylo car to Tarnaka, where A-1 allegedly slit his throat. After dumping the body, they fled and hid the weapons near their residence. Acting on credible information, police teams from OU, Nallakunta PS, and Task Force East Zone apprehended the accused on 03.12.2025 and recovered the Xylo car, two bikes, iron rod, knife, clothes worn during the offence, and mobile phones. A-1 was found to have a criminal history in earlier theft and assault cases. This detection was made under the supervision of senior officers of East Zone and OU Division. Citizens are urged not to believe in black magic for solving personal or financial problems. Such activities are illegal, and the public is advised to report these practices to the police to prevent exploitation and take legal action against offenders.
