
NOB- Kamareddy news: The Kamareddy District Police Department has taken strict action against the interstate gang of thieves who have created a fear and insecure atmosphere among the people by committing thefts, robberies and house thefts on national highways and in rural areas. In this order, on 25.09.2025, the PD Act has already been implemented against the gang members 1) Krishna Babu Shinde @ Krishna Kumar Shinde, 2) Naldev @ Ram Kishan Bhosle @ Ram Das, 3) Rathod Ajit Ramesh @ Ajay. Another main accused of the same gang, Bhaskar Bhapurap Chavan @ Bhaskar Dada Rap Chavas (S/o Bapurao Chavas, 27 years, Occupation: Sestering work, Residence: Jambhali Thanda, Mukked Taluka, Nanded District – Maharashtra), has been found guilty of committing crimes in a total of 14 cases of aggravated robbery and theft in Sadashivnagar, Gandhari, Tadwai, Pitlam, Birkur, Madnur police stations as well as Nizamabad and Nirmal districts. He is currently in custody in Nizamabad Central Jail. In this context, the PD Act orders issued by the Kamareddy District Collector were executed by Sadashivnagar Circle Inspector Santosh Kumar and SI Pushparaj, Gandhari SI Anjaneyulu and Head Constable V.L. They handed over the accused to the Nizamabad Central Jail on 15.11.2025. Since their criminal activities are causing serious disruption to the peace and security of the society, it has become mandatory to invoke the PD Act for the protection of the people. Under this act, the accused can be detained in jail without bail for one year. District SP M. Rajesh Chandra, IPS said that strict action will no longer be necessary against those who repeatedly commit crimes that harm the people. Police will strictly implement the PD Act to arrest those who cause instability and fear in the society. The SP said that they should refrain from crimes and live as responsible citizens in the society. The SP made it clear that the police department will not hesitate to take such action against anyone who commits crimes.
