He attended the Sangh centenary celebrations held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi as the chief guest and released a special postage stamp and coin. Prime Minister Modi attended the RSS centenary celebrations on 01.10.2025 as the chief guest. The Prime Minister, who released the postage stamp and the special coin, explained the special features of both. He said that the 100 rupee coin has the national emblem on one side, a lion on the other, and the image of Mother India bowing to her with dedicated volunteers. Prime Minister Modi said that this is probably the first time in the history of independent India that Mother India has an image on Indian currency. RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale also participated in this program organized on the occasion of RSS centenary celebrations. This program was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The Prime Minister, who extended his greetings to the people of the country on Mahanavami and Navratri, said that Vijayadashami should be celebrated in a grand manner. It is a symbol of the victory of justice over injustice. It is a symbol of the victory of light over darkness. Prime Minister Modi recalled that RSS was founded on such a great festival 100 years ago. He said that it is the fortune of our generation of volunteers to witness a grand occasion like the centenary year of the Sangh. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi congratulated every volunteer who has dedicated himself to serving the nation. Every volunteer fought against untouchability. In the ideology of RSS, no Hindu is considered small or big. During the Covid-19 pandemic, volunteers came forward and helped people after every disaster. RSS tried for a well, a temple, a crematorium. Every volunteer is fighting against discrimination,” said Prime Minister Modi. We all know the importance of the Republic Day parade on January 26. Prime Minister Modi recalled that in 1963, RSS volunteers participated in the national parade on January 26 and marched proudly to patriotic songs. Prime Minister Modi said that the establishment of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh 100 years ago was not a coincidence. It is a revival of a tradition that has been going on for thousands of years. National consciousness manifests itself in new avatars from time to time to meet the challenges of that era. In this era, the Prime Minister made it clear that the Sangh is a virtuous incarnation of the eternal national consciousness.
