NOB- Suryapet news: On the morning of 19.10.2024, the old criminal Gampala Shyam along with Radapangi Veerababu alias Vinod were arrested and interrogated at New Bus Stand of Suryapet town. Gampala Shyam had previously gone to Nalgonda Jail in a theft case from Suryapet Police Station, while Veerababu had gone to Nalgonda Jail for POCSO cases from Huzurnagar Police Station. He said that he had gone to jail, they met in Nalgonda Jail and decided to commit house robberies after coming out of jail. They were released from jail in the month of September 2024. Both of them stole gold from 4 houses in Suryapet town and one house in Chivvenla. About 3 tolas of gold ornaments and 35 tolas of silver were recovered from them and sent to remand. Suryapet DSP Ravi congratulated Town CI Rajasekhar, SSI Gopikrishna, Kushalava and Crime Party Constables Krishna, Karunakar, Saidulu, Constables Siva and Madhu for their efforts in apprehending the above.
